For the month of December, we will be reading "Regrets and Promises" by local author Dennis McGarry. He will also be our guest on Monday December 1 for the discussion which takes place at 1:30 pm. This book is a great read for men or women and will stick with you long after you have read it. We are also offering it for sale in the library for $7.99.

What a great story! I finished it in just a few days, I could hardly put it down. The description of this book is correct. It really stays with you. The message of the book is so heartfelt, you'll be glad that it stays with you.
It's an added bonus that the scenery is local.
Excellent book. You could follow the author's growth as a writer and the local twist was cool. The ending will totally surprise you (in a very good way.) I am so disappointed that I had to miss the discussion!
